Over
twenty years of experience in various roles within the Engineering,
Procurement and Construction industries. Experience and knowledge in a
wide variety of projects ranging from small concept selection through large
mega projects. In my current role as Lead P6 Planner, I am responsible for
lead engineering planning on 200+ projects, project reporting, and management
of change. I am a certified P6 Planner. EXPERIENCE
Lead
engineering planner on the Vale Overflow Project. Responsibilities
included the planning and schedule reporting of over 200 projects, with as
many as 70 simultaneously active. Ensure efficient and prudent use of
resources through the analysis of control system data for various projects
within the Vale Long Harbour Overflow Project. Typical
duties include: Develop and
maintain resource loaded engineering deliverable, construction work pack
level EPC schedule for engineering portion of the Vale master schedule,
including tracking of trends, supply of data for weekly progress curves and
resource monitoring using P6. Maintain / Update a
portfolio of project schedules in various stages of the projects life. Attend Site
Kickoffs and Walk downs to review and analyze project deliverables Assist site
management in developing/reviewing schedule corrective actions and recovery
plans, and confirming needed actions/plans are implemented. Examine and
evaluate the Subcontractor’s schedule & performance in field. Liaise with engineers
for updates / schedule reviews Analyze control
system data and produce appropriate reports for Project Managers which
highlight key performance indicators Reporting to upper
Project Management Responsible for
development of key Project Controls documentation for Overflow Project
including: o
Project Control Plan that detailed
all project controls required effort for Overflow Project. o
Rules of Credit plan that formed
basis for all schedule progress reporting. o
Management of Change Plan. Additional role of
OTL Timecard Administrator to process late timesheet service requests in
Oracle and assist users with timecard errors
Responsible
for managing the proposal facet of the pursuit process within the
WorleyParsons Atlantic Canada business Unit. Directly accountable for the
assessments of RFP requirements and the technical and commercial development
of WorleyParsons response. Additionally, responsible for strategic
marketing within WorleyParsons Atlantic Canada Business Unit, which includes
management of all internal and external communications in accordance with the
company's policies, standards and business objectives. In addition,
developed and managed community engagement activities and sponsorships to
establish WorleyParsons local business community ties. Highlighted
accomplishments: Lead strategic
discussions for both business as usual and non-business as usual pursuits. Facilitated
training of the WorleyParsons Project Management Procedure Module 6 for the
Atlantic Canada Business Unit and for members of the overall East Coast
Operations team. Lead the planning
of client events for all of Atlantic Canada Business Unit such as the annual
NOIA week client event and various client socials, as well as our inaugural
client open house. Lead the planning
for the Business Unit Technical Seminar series highlighting WorleyParsons
capabilities in the areas of MEG reclamation, LNG technologies and floating
structures. Responsible for the
planning of WorleyParsons participation in various industry conferences. Provided coaching
for team members within the Strategic Marketing Group with regard to the
pursuit process.
Oversaw
and was accountable for the organization and management of the proposal
process for the Upstream business sector globally within Mustang
Engineering. Managed the proposal process from receipt of the RFP
through submission and follow-up communications until the project is won or
lost. Annually managed over one hundred proposals ranging from
prequalification to mega project bids. Additional
responsibilities: Planning and
closely managing the complete proposal process (i.e. proposal schedule,
information-gathering, composition and assembly, review and delivery of all
Upstream submissions). Functioned as the
single point of contact, interfaced with clients, subcontractors, executive
management and various proposal participants throughout the company to
compile a compliant, winning response. Responsible for the
editing and writing of proposal materials as needed. Reviewed proposal
content for alignment with client’s request. Managed the
proposal team to ensure the highest quality product is produced in a timely
